Earlier on Friday, we covered claims from the Dutch press that Nottingham Forest are close to agreeing a deal with PSV Eindhoven for Ibrahim Sangaré.

The Tricky Trees are keen on acquiring the midfielder’s services and have already tabled an offer. PSV manager Peter Bosz has admitted he’s still not clear if the player will make a switch to Nottingham Forest before the window closes.

Bosz was asked about the situation around the 25-year-old in his pre-match press conference today and his comments are relayed by Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink.

“It’s not yet 100% clear about Sangaré. We don’t know at this point whether he will leave or stay,” he said.

Elfrink further explains that Steve Cooper’s side are ‘pushing’ to get the deal over the line for the Ivory Coast international.

The Eredivisie side’s manager has also admitted he’s held talks with the player and it’s now down to him to make a final decision.

“I talked to him for a long time and in the end, he decides for himself. If the selling and buying party are out, it’s down to him,” Bosz explained, relayed by Elfrink.

Earlier claims stated the player has said yes to Nottingham Forest but Bosz’s latest claims indicate that isn’t the case, or perhaps he’s just not up to date with developments.
