Former Leeds United man Mateusz Bogusz could be set for a quick return to Europe just a year after swapping Elland Road for America.

That’s according to El Desmarque, who say Celta Vigo are showing an interest in the Los Angeles FC midfielder.

They relay information from Poland, where it is being reported that Celta Vigo sporting director Marco Garcés is a big fan of the former Leeds man.

Indeed, he signed him for LAFC last year from Leeds and it seems his interest in the 22-year-old, who has become a regular in America since his move there, has not waned.

Celta are therefore one of the teams interested in him and knows he could adapt well at the Spanish side as he previously enjoyed a loan spell at UD Ibiza from Leeds.

He was one of the key players at the club during his time there but didn’t make the breakthrough at Leeds, who sold him to Los Angelese FC for €1m last summer.

That deal was done by Marco Garcés, who was sports director at the time and has since made the move to Celta, where it seems he wants to reunite with Bogusz once again.
