Hull City winger Kamil Grosicki is looking to leave the club this summer and wants a return to Turkey, says his former coach Orhan Kaynak.

Kaynak has spoken to Turkish radio station Radyospor as covered by Ajansspor and revealed the Polish winger wants to play in the Super Lig again: “I worked with Grosicki at Sivasspor. When I speak with him, he told me he wants to return to Turkey. Galatasaray and Basaksehir are rumoured to be interested in his signature. I think there’s a chance that he can return to Super Lig.”

Last summer, Grosicki came very close to joining Bursaspor but the move collapsed and he returned to Hull City.

At the time it was reported he was close to moving to Turkey but interest from Sporting turned the player’s head. Grosicki has gone on record to say he was keen to move to Portugal at the time.

However, Sporting’s interest in the Hull City attacker came too late in the window and a deal couldn’t be done with the Portuguese giants.

The Poland international made 39 appearances for the Championship side last season, scoring 9 goals.

Grosicki is under contract at Hull City until June 2020.
