Liverpool continue to get linked to the Paris FC striker Silas Wamangituka.

In the past few months, we’ve been covering claims from France which said Reds officials have travelled to watch the 19-year-old in action.

And it turns out that the rumours today come from Portugal, since the local media has also been following Braga’s chase for the player.

Newspaper Jornal de Notícias claims that besides the Liga NOS side, Liverpool and Barcelona are also set to fight for his signing.

The outlet writes that Wamangituka currently has a market value of around €3m, but Paris FC are pretty excited with his form, and believe they could get a little more with his sale.

They also take claims from the French press which say that Braga and Club Brugge offered around €4m and €5m for the signing, but that wasn’t enough to convince Paris. So Liverpool better be prepared to face some competition for the striker.

Wamangituka has scored 11 goals in Ligue 2 this season.
