According to a claim in the Turkish media, Leeds United are showing interest in Besiktas forward Semih Kılıçsoy.
The youngster has been linked with a move to England in the past 18 months following his breakthrough season during the last campaign.
Yeni Asir today report Leeds United are the latest English club to be linked with Kılıçsoy and that their interest in the 19-year-old is concrete.
It’s claimed Leeds United officials will travel to Turkey in the coming days to try and get a deal done for the young attacker. The west Yorkshire side will be looking to strengthen their squad following their promotion back to the Premier League and it seems like they’ve already planning for next season.
The Turkish media outlet says a possible loan offer will be put on the table by the Championship champions and it’s hoped they can convince the Besiktas hierarchy over a deal.
Last summer the Super Lig side reportedly turned down an offer from Aston Villa.
Kılıçsoy has made 36 appearances for the Black Eagles this season, scoring four goals. He’s contracted until June 2028.
