There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Trabzonspor are the latest club to show interest in Plymouth Argyle defender Maksym Talovierov.
The Ukrainian could leave the Pilgrims in the summer following their relegation from the Championship and the player has also been linked with Derby County and Wrexham in recent days.
Fotospor have reported on the latest developments regarding Talovierov and they say Trabzonspor are giving consideration to signing him this summer.
The Trabzon club have endured a disappointing season and would be looking to add a central defender to their squad during the next transfer window.
However, the Plymouth Argyle player is said to be keen on remaining in the UK after reports in the Ukraine press Derby County and Wrexham could look to sign him. Both clubs will be playing in the Championship next season and can give Talovierov the opportunity to remain in the English second tier.
Talovierov only signed for Plymouth from LASK during the last transfer window, but their relegation to Division 1 has put doubts over his future with the club.
He’s contracted to the south coast side until June 2028.
