With the Italian rumour mill coming with its full force, today we see Tottenham Hotspur heavily linked to two Serie A targets.

One of them is AS Roma defender Roger Ibanez, who’s been said to be a target for Spurs in the past few weeks.

Calcio Mercato today feature a story saying the centre-back is ‘ready to say goodbye’ to the Giallorossi, as Atletico Madrid and Tottenham are the strongest contenders for the signing.

Since Roma need a sale, their initial €35m request is set to drop, and the expectation is for a move worth between €25m and €28m.

Roma’s transfer guru Tiago Pinto is set to travel to London this week for transfer talks with West Ham, and there’s insinuations throughout the Italian media that he could talk to other clubs whilst he’s there, including Tottenham as the Italian club try to seal Ibanez’s exit.

Meanwhile, as Gazzetta Dello Sport write about Juventus’ pending transfer deals, it’s reiterated they’ve been in talks with Tottenham about Dejan Kulusevski.

It’s said club director Giovanni Manna recently went to London to speak to Spurs about the winger, as the London side want a discount on the €35m fee.

Gazzetta don’t make it clear whether the clubs are advancing for an agreement, but with the Old Lady not interested in bringing Kulusevski back, it’s just a matter of finding common ground.
