Georginio Rutter may have arrived at Leeds United just a few months ago, but is already being linked with a move back to the Bundesliga.

This possibility is today raised by German outlet Bild, who share some news on Hoffenheim’s management.

They report that club sports director Alexander Rosen is now set to be promoted to managing director, and should already start working on some transfers.

One of them is the return of Rutter, who left for Leeds in a €28m deal in the January transfer window.

He’s still to prove himself with the Whites, having barely played in the final couple of months of the season, and could apparently be set for an early departure from Elland Road.

Bild don’t make it clear whether Hoffenheim are already making moves to get the 21-year-old back. As Fussball Transfers cover the story, they point out that Rutter sounds like an expensive signing, and a loan would give the Bundesliga side bigger chances of succeeding in their quest.

Now we should see whether Leeds would be willing to let the youngster go so early after his arrival.
