The Colombian media continues to show great optimism about Élan Ricardo’s transfer to Watford.
Earlier this week, we had already covered reports saying the Hornets and Equidad have an agreement for the youngster to move.
That’s now backed up by Adriano Savalli, who claim the negotiation is now in its final stages.
The journalist writes that after Watford and Equidad found a deal for the transfer, they’re now in the stage of ‘exchanging and signing documents’. It’s also said the move should be concluded soon.
Something similar is said by Breinner Canizares, who claims that Ricardo has ‘everything ready’ to join the Hornets.
The interesting point here is that unlike the original report from Mariano Olsen, which said the player could be kept by Equidad until December, none of the fresh stories have a slant on that. Perhaps that’s still being discussed between the clubs.
South American seasons go from January to December, so the Colombian club would surely be happy to keep the player for a little longer and send him to Watford at the end of the year.
