We now get to see some insistence from the Colombian media that Élan Ricardo’s transfer to Watford is agreed.
Journalist Mariano Olsen has again taken to Twitter to talk about the transfer, this time to bring more details of the negotiation.
It’s now claimed that Watford’s purchase will leave Equidad with 20% of the proceeds from a future transfer. Ricardo could also stay at the Colombian side until December, but that’ll be up to the Hornets to decide.
Olsen had already broken the news about Ricardo’s move to England last week. It was on Thursday that he said the 20-year-old would be Watford’s new player.
Since then, part of the local media tried to slow things down. Pipe Sierra, a quite reliable local journalist, claimed there were just negotiations going on for now. He claimed that even though the player’s staff confirmed there were talks, there was nothing done yet.
It turns out Olsen continues to sound sure about his information, and it would be no surprise if we get to see Watford or Equidad confirming the agreement for the transfer.
