Pep Guardiola seems to be settling down better into his life in England. The Manchester City manager no longer looks like he fights through contempt during interviews and press conferences, and things are a little calmer.

The weight of expectation has taken some getting used to, as has the Premier League, and Guardiola is adapting and already planning for Manchester City’s summer transfer business. Like a certain Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, next year is now forecast as the ‘real’ test, when anything but a Premier League title win will be perceived as a failure.

Once it all gets too much for Pep, whether than be in a year, two, or many more, Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reckon they know where he’ll be off to.

Segunda Division Girona would be the destination, with Pep’s brother Pere already involved with the club.

It would be a long term project, and it’s claimed Guardiola wouldn’t go alone, taking Txiki Begiristain, and ‘his entire staff’ with him. Girona probably need to start saving their Euros up.
