On Friday, Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg reported Galatasaray have made a concrete offer to Nottingham Forest’s Orel Mangala. He also stated Juventus and Napoli are both keen on signing him.

Later that day, we relayed news from Italy that Napoli have made progress in their talks with Nottingham Forest. After Galatasaray’s bid, the midfielder has now received another proposal.

That’s according to Plettenberg, who took to X to say the Serie A winners have made an offer of a loan deal with an option to buy. Juve are also in the picture and are aiming to take the 25-year-old on loan.

Plettenberg adds talks and negotiations are ongoing for the Belgium international, who is ‘ready to leave’ Nuno Espírito Santo’s side this month.

Over at Gazzetta dello Sport, they also state the Italian champions are negotiating with Nottingham Forest for Mangala.

It’s claimed Napoli have sent a formal offer of a loan deal with the right of redemption to the Tricky Trees, to beat competition from Juventus.

There’s a different take in Belgium about Napoli’s pursuit of the player. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims they are ‘only looking for a loan’ deal while Nottingham Forest are ‘looking to sell’ Mangala this month.

He adds work is ‘currently underway’ for the midfielder to leave the City Ground.
