Lille transfer sagas seem to often be more complicated than most, and involve claims from around the world media.

It happened with Nicolas Pepe, Victor Osimhen, and now with Gabriel Magalhães. Manchester United, Arsenal and Napoli were linked with all three at some stage, and the first two ended up moving to the Gunners and Serie A club respectively.

Gabriel’s saga continues, with the defender continuing to edge the decision about his future down the road. Lille have agreed fees with Arsenal and Napoli, and it was thought to be a case of Gabriel curing his indecision.

Well, he may now find it harder because Gianluca Di Marzio reports Manchester United have today come forward for his signing. There’s not a lot of detail, it’s just a brief report which mentions the two other clubs, and Gabriel’s hesitant decision making.

The Brazilian has been linked with Manchester United this summer, although interest from the Red Devils hasn’t appeared as strong as from other clubs.

Maybe that has changed, or they’re again being used to hype a LIlle player and pressure other clubs.
