Greek radio station Sport 24 claim Olympiacos are progressing in their talks to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Tiago Silva.

The Greek side are in the market for a midfielder, and Sport 24 report their manager Pedro Martins likes the profile of the 27 year old.

It’s reported Martins believes Silva has different characteristics from all the midfielders he currently has in his squad, and thinks he would be an excellent addition to his team.

Some of Erythrolefki’s current midfielders, such as Mady Camara and Guilherme, could leave the club this summer, and Sport 24 say the Nottingham Forest man could be brought in to fill the void.

Silva joined Sabri Lamouchi’s side from Portuguese club CD Feirense last summer, and has been one of the most consistent players for the Championship side in the past 12 months.

He’s made a total of 47 appearances in all competitions for Forest, scoring four goals, and his contract at the City Ground will expire at the end of June 2022.
