It seems Juventus thought of a particular strategy to make cash this summer. As reported by the Italian media, club director Fabio Paratici travelled to England and offered a few players to several clubs this week.

Serie A sides see the Premier League clubs as rich, so that was a quick solution to find some buyers.

A few outlets found out the list of clubs who Juventus met with, and according to Gazzetta Dello Sport and Sport Media Set, Aston Villa were one of them.

It isn’t clear which names were discussed. Both reports name Frederico Bernardeschi, Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro as the most likely exits, while Sport Media Set also add the likes of Sami Khedira, Daniele Rugani and Mattia De Sciglio.

It’s been a long time since Aston Villa were last linked to a Juventus player. Back in the last summer window, it was claimed the club were chasing goalkeeper Mattia Perin, but the move never happened.

There are certainly some interesting options for Villa in the Juventus squad, and most of them, maybe apart from the Brazilians, seem pretty affordable for Premier League clubs.
