On December 1st, we relayed news from Germany that VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy is flattered with the interest shown by Manchester United.

A day later, Sky Deutschland stated the Red Devils have made contact and were told the ‘details’ needed to secure a deal.

Bild discuss Manchester United’s interest in the 27-year-old and state they are one of the clubs keen on securing his services.

As it stands, Erik ten Hag’s side haven’t held concrete talks with the Guinea international’s camp over a potential deal. The striker has starred for the Bundesliga side this season, scoring 18 goals and registering two assists from 14 games.

Guirassy’s future remains uncertain and taking advantage of his release clause, the outlet states he can leave the German club for a ‘bargain price’ of around €20m in January. The price would be affordable for the Old Trafford club.

Stuttgart seem to be expecting a firm approach from Manchester United or another club next month, which is why they have identified FC Augsburg’s Dion Drena Beljo as a candidate to replace their star.

Bild state Stuttgart have already asked about the conditions needed to sign the Croatian and add that it’s possible for the 21-year-old to change clubs in the winter market.
