Brighton and Hove Albion have already moved to ‘test the waters’ for Salernitana youngster Loum Tchaouna.
That’s according to Il Mattino, who report that the Italian side are ready to ‘fill their coffers’ by selling the youngster, who is considered the ‘gem’ of the current squad.
Salernitana are gearing up for a busy summer after a disappointing season that will end in relegation from Serie A.
Several players are set to depart in the coming months and Tchaouna looks likely to be one of them after earning plaudits with his performances this season.
Brighton have been named among his suitors this week, with a report two days ago indicating that they are keen on a deal, which would be worth around €10m, and that followed up by another report naming them again on Friday.
Il Mattino continue the trend today, stating that Brighton, as well as Stuttgart and Lazio, have already moved to ‘test the waters’ for the former Rennes player.
He’s currently valued at just under €10m according to the newspaper, a figure which would allow Salernitana to fill their coffers and walk away pleased.
Whether Brighton want to spend that is another matter but it’s certainly not a prohibitive figure by any means and their interest in the youngster has seemingly been registered.
