Borna Barisic has been handed a three-year plus one-year deal by Trabzonspor to leave Glasgow Rangers and Philippe Clement behind this summer.
That’s according to Sabah, who cover the defender’s impending departure from Ibrox today after reports he would be making his way to Turkey at the end of the season.
Barisic’s current deal at Rangers expires in the summer and all indications have been that he will be allowed to leave Ibrox on a free transfer, with Philippe Clement seemingly deciding to go in a different direction.
Several reports in the last few months have indicated that he will be swapping Scotland for Turkey and Sabah continue that today.
According to their information, Barisic will signing a three-year deal that includes the option of another extra year should the move prove to be one both are happy with.
He’s one of three signings who have already been tied up ahead of the summer, with Rangers teammate John Lundstram also having struck a pre-contract agreement as he looks to leave Ibrox himself.
Barisic’s departure will bring an end to a six-year stay at Rangers, with him having arrived in August 2018 and racked up over 230 appearances for the club since.
