Arne Slot will be bringing three of his Feyenoord backroom staff with him to Liverpool, with a deal now in place between the two clubs.
That’s according to Algemeen Dagblad, relayed by 1908 Feyenoord, who name the three Feyenoord staff members who will be moving alongside Slot.
Liverpool struck an agreement with Feyenoord on Friday after seeing an initial bid for Slot rejected earlier this week when they made their first move for him.
It is now a matter of when not if the Dutch coach will move to Anfield, with negotiations between him and Liverpool having been a simple matter after he made it clear he wants the move.
Several of his Feyenoord players are already being linked with transfers but it seems the first men who will be following him are three of his staff members.
Algemeen Dagblad report that performance coach Ruben Peeters and assistant trainers Etienne Reijned and Sipke Hulshoff will be moving to Anfield too.
Hulshoff in particular is set for a busy summer as he will be with the Netherlands at Euro 2024 as he’s also a part of Ronald Koeman’s backroom staff.
Either way, it seems his and his colleagues’ work with Slot is not done yet and they will be joining him when he moves to Liverpool this summer.
