Even though West Ham United still stand far from an agreement with Corinthians for Wesley’s transfer, and now face competition from Crystal Palace and Brighton, the player’s agent seems to be working to make a summer move possible.

Globo Esporte today shares a fresh story claiming that Clóvis Henrique, the player’s agent, has travelled to Europe to meet some clubs.

West Ham are labelled as the main interested side, following a verbal €18m offer for Wesley which was turned down by the Brazilian club.

According to Globo Esporte, Corinthians want a minimum of €25m, which would make the player their biggest sale ever.

Some fresh information brought by the report is that Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace also made contact to know more about the player, but haven’t yet opened negotiations for his transfer. Atlético Madrid are also said to be interested.

So it’s really West Ham who lead the race, and it seems that some talks with his agent could help them get closer to the signing.
