Two days ago, it was Sport who reported that Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele has a market in the Premier League and they mentioned Liverpool as a possible future destination for the forward.

Today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo has a story about the 21-year-old and they now claim the Merseyside club and Arsenal are ‘attentive’ to the former Borussia Dortmund man’s situation at Camp Nou.

His attitude at the club has been questioned and criticised over the past few weeks. If he fails to change it, then Ernesto Valverde’s side will listen to offers and this could come as an advantage for the two English clubs.

A possibility of a January transfer is looked into and it’s mentioned there is ‘great novelty’ because he can play in the Champions League knockout stages, if he joins the Reds at the start of next year.

The Blaugrana’s intention is to not sell the Frenchman, at least in January, because their main objective this season is to win the European competition and Dembele could play a role in helping them achieve it.

Unless there is a drastic change in Barca’s stance and they receive a mammoth offer for their player, it is unlikely the attacker will leave the club until the end of the season.

Arsenal and Liverpool may have to wait.
