Liverpool have been linked with move for Sampdoria forward Luis Muriel in the Italian media. The Colombian has been in impressive form for the Serie A side this season, and could move in the summer window.

TMW have claimed Liverpool are the latest club to show an interest in Muriel, and have approached Sampdoria with regards to the South American. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be looking to bolster his attacking options in the summer, and could be keen to bring in an out and out No.9 during the next window.

Muriel has a buyout clause of €28m, but Liverpool will face competition to sign the 25-year-old. AS Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with Muriel following his displays for his club in this campaign.

Muriel signed for Sampdoria from Udinese for £12m in 2015, and has gone on to be of the standout forwards in Serie A. The forward has a contract with Sampdoria until June 2019. Muriel has played 15 times for Colombian since making his debut in 2012.
