There seems to be a pattern developing in the Spanish media with regards to reports on Gareth Bale’s Real Madrid exit.

Tottenham are now very much partnering Manchester United in the reports, with an insistence Spurs want to get the Welshman back. Those reports about a Bale return are certainly not solely related to a possible Harry Kane transfer, something the Spanish media currently see as less likely.

Over the years El Confidencial have been good on big Real Madrid exits, getting in early and correct on the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil, sometimes reporting differently to everyone else but getting it right.

They state a Bale exit is increasingly likely for a list of reasons which have been gone over repeatedly. Injuries, Bale failing to integrate, and his family’s desire for a return to these shores.

Florentino Perez is ‘ready to listen to offers’ for the player and whilst €100m would be the aim, it’s quite possible, and maybe likely, Bale could leave for a chunk less.

El Confidencial say that one of the intermediaries who works with Real Madrid in England has informed the Spanish club that Tottenham and Manchester United are keen.

This story doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere.

Could Bale and Kane be at Tottenham next season? The Spanish media clearly believe it’s a possibility.
