Antonio Conte is still officially the manager of Chelsea but that’s likely to change soon, if reports from Italy are to be believed. The former Juventus and Italy coach has one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

According to CalcioNapoli24.it, there’s been movement on both ends, as they take English reports on a Conte exit agreement and add them to their own Sarri claims.

Conte will be replaced with Maurizio Sarri, who is still contracted to Napoli, despite the Serie A outfit already appointing Carlo Anceotti as their new manager for the 2018/19 season.

Sarri has now reached an agreement with Chelsea to become their new manager. He will sign a two-year deal with the FA Cup winners that will keep him in the English capital club until 2020, with an option to further extend it by a year.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and the leaders of Napoli are in talks as they look to reach an agreement for Sarri with Napoli.

The report claims the two clubs are close to reaching “total agreement” and the Naples side will be pocketing €5m from Sarri’s transfer to the Premier League. The contractual agreements should be finalised in the “next few hours”.
