Celtic and Moussa Dembele have showed their determination to stay working together, as claims from France reveal Chelsea increased their offer to €47m.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with Dembele over the past 24 hours and with the Celtic player travelling to London for a scan, the rumours kept on rolling.

Happy at Celtic, Dembele was never likely to push for a move and has repeatedly explained how pleased he is with his development under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Dembele could have signed for a Premier League club instead of Celtic, but he knew the club would be good for his career and has been proven correct.

An offer of €47m, as reported by France’s FootMercato, would be difficult for most clubs to turn down, but Celtic are well aware they have a star on their hands, and one who, unlike many, isn’t distracted the moment a big English club comes in.
