Tottenham Hotspur fullback Sergio Reguilón has ended up in the sights of Lazio.

The Spain international is not included in Antonio Conte’s plans going forward this season and is looking to leave the north London club before the window closes.

His situation at Tottenham could help the Serie A side as their chairman, Claudio Lotito, is trying to get a new left-back for Maurizio Sarri.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who state the 25-year-old’s name is being looked at by the Biancocelesti.

It’s explained the former Real Madrid man can arrive at Lazio on a loan deal with the right of redemption set at €20m. His annual salary of €3.6m is an issue for the Italian club.

Lazio are hoping for an operation similar to the one that saw Tanguy Ndombele join Napoli on loan from Tottenham. Spurs are paying a chunk of the Frenchman’s wages while he is on loan at the Naples club.

Kia Joorabchian manages Reguilón and the Rome club have close ties with the agent. This could help them in a potential operation.

Corriere state: ‘It will be a fiery final rush, there are ten days left for Lazio to try to close Reguilón, obtaining convenient economic conditions.’
