Ansu Fati has a clear wish for his future, the Catalan media says.
The Barcelona winger, who’s loaned to Brighton & Hove Albion until the end of the season, has an uncertain future given the Blaugrana don’t have big plans for him and the Seagulls haven’t yet made an effort to prolong his stay.
However, according to Sport, Fati is completely focused on convincing Barça he deserves a place in their squad, and will try to prove them right in pre-season.
The outlet points out that the winger’s loan at Brighton hasn’t been very ‘productive’, as he’s been having ups and downs in the Premier League, and that’s why the Camp Nou side were expected to find him a new solution in the next transfer window.
Now with Fati having his heart set on Barcelona, it seems it’s his wish that could make a difference for a potential stay at the club.
Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi this week dodged a question about the 21-year-old potentially staying at the Seagulls, and the Catalan media doesn’t even consider the option of that loan becoming a permanent move in the summer.
Previous reports in Spain have stated that Fati wouldn’t mind a move to Sevilla.
