Cardiff City have made two bids for Fenerbahçe defender Lincoln Henrique, with negotiations expected to be complete in a short time.

That’s according to Haber Turk, who say the Championship side are set to secure a new addition for manager Erol Bulut.

A report earlier today indicated that Cardiff were looking into a possible deal for Henrique as they hope to further strengthen their squad on deadline day of the January transfer window.

The story has developed from that point onwards, with reports in England stating that the two sides were negotiating a straight loan deal for the player.

Haberturk now follow that up and explain that Cardiff, led by Erol Bulut, have made two offers for the 25-year-old Brazilian, the first a formal full transfer and the second a loan deal.

They make no mention of which one the two sides are now focusing on, but the negotiations are expected to be completed in a short time, with Cardiff waiting to see what decision Fenerbahçe make over the player.

The Bluebirds are not the only side in the mix for the player with Super Lig side MKE Ankaragücü in the mix, with manager Emre Belözoğlu also keen to sign him on loan until the end of the season.
