It seems Malang Sarr could still find a way out of Chelsea in this transfer window.

The defender has been linked to multiple clubs in the past few weeks, as his lack of playing time with the Blues is a big reason for clubs to offer him a better opportunity.

As now reported by Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Le Havre are making a late attempt to sign Sarr from Chelsea.

It’s said the French club are ‘confident’ they’ll get the deal done before the transfer deadline.

For now, there are no details on whether that’s a loan or a permanent transfer.

Sarr hasn’t played a single minute for Chelsea since his return from a spell at Monaco last summer. His contract with the Blues runs until 2025, so they should be concerned about finding a solution for him instead of letting him stay forgotten at their training ground.

Clubs from Turkey, Belgium and Italy have all been linked to him recently, but it looks like it’s Le Havre who are getting close to a deal.
