Paul Pogba has just over two months left on his contract at Manchester United.
As it stands, he is very likely to leave the Red Devils as a free agent for the second time in his career. The first time was in 2012.
Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have been named as the possible options for the Manchester United player in the summer. Real Madrid should not be excluded from this equation according to Italian journalist Stefano Benzi.
Benzi was one of the guests on Calciomercato.it’s CMIT TV, where he further went on to explain the France international already has a deal in place to join the La Liga side.
“Pogba has signed with Real, €50m over four years. Today they gave me the info,” Benzi said.
With the former Juventus man set to leave Manchester United for the second time and Nemanja Matić already confirming his decision to leave Old Trafford after this season, the Premier League side need to bring in a new midfielder in the summer.
Earlier on Wednesday, we covered multiple claims made in Italy discussing United’s interest in Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić.
It was also suggested a fee of €70m ‘could be enough’ for the Red Devils to acquire the midfielder’s services in the next window.
