Already a target for Leeds United, Watford’s Ismaïla Sarr is now also being pursued by Crystal Palace.

Managed by Patrick Vieira, the Eagles caused an upset on Monday evening as they held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield, leaving the Reds with just two points from their opening two games.

That being said, there’s a feeling Crystal Palace could do with a little bit more oomph up front, which is where the Senegalese forward would come in.

Foot Mercato are the ones reporting this, explaining that Sarr himself ‘would like to quickly play in the Premier League this season’.

Crystal Palace are said to be ‘charging’ to sign the Championship star, meaning they are strongly going for it.

Few details have emerged as of now, but with Leeds also on the case, Sarr is likely to have to make a choice.

What Crystal Palace appear to have as an advantage, however, is that they don’t need to ‘part ways with an attacking element’ before getting the deal done, unlike the Elland Road side.

Furthermore, as per their jounrnalist Santi Aouna on Twitter, Patrick Vieira has ‘already spoken’ with Sarr.
