Despite not having a manager at the helm, Tottenham are still making moves on the transfer market.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who appear to have new information regarding Spurs’ interest in Takehiro Tomiyasu, currently at Bologna.

The Japan international has become a target for a couple of clubs in Europe after impressing in Italy, with both Atalanta and Daniel Levy’s side in the hunt for his services.

TuttoMercatoWeb claimed an offer could arrive soon for the centre-back, which Calciomercato believe has already taken place.

Looking at Tomiyasu’s future and how well he did over the past 12 months, the Italian website claim ‘Bologna have received two official offers, one from Tottenham and the other from Atalanta’.

The latter is ‘seemingly the player’s favoured destination’, meaning it’ll be up to Fabio Paratici to change his mind.

The 22-year-old made 31 league appearances for the Italian side last season, scoring two goals along the way.
