SporX report Galatasaray have pulled out talks with Stoke City to sign Giannelli Imbula.

The Turkish website has reported Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun met with Stoke City officials last week to conclude the deal for Imbula, after Galatasaray had agreed personal terms with the player.

SporX say Ergun convinced Stoke City over a loan deal, and Imbula himself personally became involved in the discussions. However, despite coming to an agreement with Stoke City, Galatasaray still pulled out due to the Premier League side’s demands on the right of redemption for the Frenchman.

Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun has since returned to Turkey and discussed the situation with the club’s president, and they’ve both decided to pull out of a deal for the Stoke City player.

The demands from the Premier League club are described as ‘astronomical’.

Galatasaray are now chasing West Ham target Badou N’Diaye, and also in advanced discussions with Manchester City’s Fernando.
