Following the news that Bayern Munich had made a first offer for Tottenham’s Harry Kane, it became clear there was a good chance the England international could leave the club this summer.

However, Le Parisien in France explain that the Bavarians aren’t the only ones after the Spurs star, as Paris Saint-Germain are also working hard on a transfer.

Previous reports suggested Nasser Al Khelaifi wanted the Tottenham striker at the club above other targets, and that’s why the Ligue 1 side ‘continue to negotiate’ with the player’s entourage.

While the Bundesliga side are ‘optimistic’ about getting a deal done and believe Kane can ‘no longer escape them’, Paris Saint-Germain have other plans.

It’s stated those in charge of the French side are ‘still trying to convince’ the Tottenham forward to head to Paris, ‘likely offering him a more important salary’ than the one from Bavaria, as well as pushing the London club to accept an offer ‘by offering a higher amount’ than Bayern Munich.

This would be closer to what Spurs are looking for, but Paris Saint-Germain have backups should everything fail, such as Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani.

Something to keep in mind, as a lot of the attention has been on Bayern Munich, while Paris Saint-Germain’s movements have been a bit quieter, but are there.
