Two days ago, Calciomercato stated Chelsea and AC Milan were sorting out the last details of the deal to bring Ruben Loftus-Cheek to the San Siro in the summer window.

It was also said the 27-year-old, who made 19 league starts for the Blues last season, was keen to leave the Premier League side. He’s now edging closer to completing a switch to Milan.

That’s according to MilanLive.it journalist Martin Sartorio, who took to Twitter to reveal the Serie A side have ‘everything ready’ to secure the Chelsea midfielder’s services.

Sartorio adds the player is expected to arrive in Italy soon to carry out medical tests and sign a contract at Milan.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.it state the England international should arrive in Milan in the next few hours for medical.

It’s further claimed Mauricio Pochettino’s side will earn €15m from Loftus-Cheek’s sale to the Rossineri and he’s set to sign a deal worth €4m net per year.

Loftus-Cheek may not be the only player who could swap the west London club for Milan. Earlier this week, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Stefano Pioli’s side are keen to sign Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic.
