Fanatik have claimed Fenerbahçe are very close to signing Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony on loan. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola doesn’t seem keen to work with the attacker, so a transfer is very much on the cards.

The Turkish newspaper have reported Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement in principle with Manchester City over a loan deal, and the club have also agreed on personal terms with the Ivorian striker.

It’s been revealed Fenerbahçe will pay Manchester City a fee of €1.5m to loan Bony for a season. The 29-year old reportedly will earn €3.5m per year with Fenerbahçe, and both clubs are currently in advanced talks to finalise the deal.

After the departure of Emmanuel Emenike and a long term injury to Jose Fernandao, Fenerbahçe manager Aykut Kocaman has reportedly been demanding two strikers to link up with Robin van Persie.

Bony, who struggled to make an impact at Stoke City last season, is seen as a perfect Aykut Kocaman type player, as he’s good in the air and strong.
