According to TMW, Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci’s move to PAOK is moving forward. The 27-year-old has been linked with a transfer to the Greek side in recent days after being told he doesn’t have a future at Leeds United.

TMW have reported Bellusci’s agent Michelangelo Minieri yesterday travelled to Germany to hold talks with PAOK, and things went well. Despite having a preference to return to Italy, there’s a chance Bellusci could swap Leeds for Greece.

The Italian media outlet says he must resolve his contract situation with the Championship side before his proposed move to Greece, whether that means a transfer fee or Leeds letting him go for nothing.

Several Italian articles in recent days have spoken about Bellusci ‘resolving’ his Leeds United contractual status, without making it clear what that exactly means.

The Championship club’s willingness to let Bellusci go, and being so public about pushing the defender out, has probably impacted their chances of getting a reasonable fee for the player.
