When Chelsea signed Emerson Palmieri from AS Roma in January 2018, he was expected to be back-up for Marcos Alonso.

The Spain international’s dip in form in recent times has convinced Maurizio Sarri to start the former Serie A man ahead of Alonso in the left-back position in league fixtures.

Elenko Sports represent the Blues defender, along with Barcelona’s Malcom and other players.

According to Calciomercato, one of the representatives of the agency held a meeting with AC Milan at the club’s headquarters to discuss both players named.

Regarding Palmieri, it’s claimed the west London club could sanction his transfer if they receive an offer in excess of €25m, but a lot will depend on whether the Premier League club’s transfer ban will be lifted or not.

Milan, on the other hand, will have to sort out their dispute with UEFA in regards to Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Italian club have the services of Ricardo Rodríguez as first choice left-back. They need to take a decision whether or not to spend €25m plus for a back-up.
