Earlier on Tuesday, we covered claims made in Italy that Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent is in contact with Chelsea.
It was also explained the representative could bring in an offer of €40m from the Blues to the Naples club in the next few days.
The defender has entered his final year of contract and the Serie A side have already handed him a new deal.
It looks like the 31-year-old has made a decision on his future as the said offer from Chelsea has now arrived at Napoli.

That’s according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who took to Twitter to report the centre-back is ‘very close’ to signing for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Hawkins further claims the Senegal international will sign a three-year deal with Chelsea and the will operation will cost them around €40m.
If this claim is to be true, then it is a blow for Napoli as they had plans to retain Koulibaly until the end of his playing career and also offer him a role post retirement.
