With Brentford winning the Premier League Cup last week, there are surely some players in the Bees’ reserve squad who managed to draw attention during the competition.

One of them is centre-back Tristan Crama, who was signed from French side AS Beziers in 2020 and is now part of the English club’s B team.

It turns out reports from his home country now speak about his future, with Foot Mercato saying Brentford already have plans for him next season.

Given Crama has not been getting playing time in the first team this season, the Bees are ‘clearly open to the idea’ of loaning him out this summer.

In fact, Foot Mercato claims there’s a long list of clubs who’d like to sign the defender. He’s said to have admirers in France and Scotland, besides clubs from the Championship, all ready to give him a chance in their first teams.

So in case Brentford are certain about him not being ready yet, there are plenty of options for him to develop somewhere else. They should just tie him up with a new contract, since his deal expires this summer and their option is only for an extra year.
