According to a claim in the Swedish media Bournemouth are the latest club to show an interest in Djurgarden defender Felix Beijmo.
The 20 year old has been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent months after the Premier League side held talks for the player.
Expressen have reported on the latest developments over the future of Beijmo following reports English and German clubs are monitoring his situation.
It’s claimed Bournemouth are now keen on the youngster, but they face competition from Werder Bremen.
Bremen are said to be ahead of Bournemouth in the race to sign Beijmo, and Expressen also report Wolves tried to do a deal in the last window.
Djurgarden sporting director Bosse Andersson has also confirmed there is interest in the young fullback: “There is an interest in Felix, we’ll see what’s offered.”
Andersson recently said he held talks with Wolves over a move to the Championship side, but they pulled out of a deal.
Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach are also said to be interested in Beijmo.
