Wolves signed Goncalo Guedes in the summer of 2022 but since then the Portuguese player has never made a mark at the club.
He’s played only 122 minutes in the Premier League this season and failed to impress at either Benfica or Villarreal in his loan stints at the two clubs last season.
The versatile forward finds himself on the fringes of Gary O’Neil’s project in the current campaign and Estadio Deportivo have looked at the 27-year-old’s situation.
The outlet note that there is interest from Villarreal and also relay information from the UK about interest from both Girona and Real Sociedad. They go on to state that due to his contract situation at Wolves, a January exit can be quite problematic.
He arrived at the club for a fee of £27.5m and since his current deal at Molineux runs out in the summer of 2027, his valuation is still quite high.
The outlet believe that Wolves value him at around £20m and that isn’t a fee that any Spanish club can would find attractive.
The feeling is that even the player wants an exit in search of more game time but only another loan move may be viable.
