PSV Eindhoven have been handed a major fitness boost ahead of their trip to Arsenal with Noa Lang back and travelling with the squad.

That’s according to De Telegraaf, who say Mikel Arteta will have to plan to deal with the winger despite a belief he could miss the clash.

Arsenal take on PSV in the Champions League group stages tomorrow, with the two sides set to clash at the Emirates to kick off their European campaigns.

PSV had looked set to be without summer recruit Lang, who was left out of the 4-0 win over NEC on Saturday thanks to a hamstring problem.

PSV boss Peter Bosz had ‘expressed the hope’ after that game that Lang had avoided a serious injury and might still be available for the trip to London and De Telegraaf now report that he is.

According to them, Lang completed an individual program on Monday and there was no immediate issues so the final decision was made this morning, ahead of the club’s departure, that he would travel with them to Arsenal.

Whether he plays against Mikel Arteta’s side remains to be seen, however, as PSV are planning to take a closer look at him and his issue following their training session at the Emirates stadium.

Either way, Arteta may need to think about adapting his plans, with the potential inclusion of Lang changing PSV, and their outlook, considerably.
