On Saturday French newspaper L’Equipe once again talked up the possibility of Yanis Salibur moving to England, this time in the January transfer window. Salibur has been linked with several English clubs, and the French newspaper believe he’d now be available for €6-8m.

West Brom were named this time, but previously it’s been Leeds United and Hull City. Back in the 2016 summer window, Sport Witness covered claims from France that Leeds had tabled an offer for the player.

Then earlier this year, Salibur was linked to Leeds United again, as Hull City continued their interest in the player.

L’Equipe believe this is a decisive time in the 26 year old’s career, and there’s some serious interest claimed.

Fiorentina and Sevilla are both said to be keen on the player, and if that’s true it would make it hard for Leeds if the Yorkshire club remain keen.

Salibur is a right sided attacker, and has a Guingamp contract lasting until June 2018, hence the pressure over a transfer.

Should the interest from others not amount to much soon, then Leeds may have a chance of turning that previous offer into an actual deal.
