Last summer, Wolverhampton Wanderers showed interest in Real Betis’ Pablo García.

In July, Estadio Deportivo reported Wolves were determined to table a strong bid for the 19-year-old. It’s unclear whether they made an offer, but he’s still at Real Betis.

The Premier League club haven’t forgotten about the winger if a report from Ficherio is to be believed. Their title say: ‘Wolves go for Pablo García’.

Within the report, it’s explained a Wolves official has been following him live in action for the La Liga club.

García is currently part of the Spain squad at the ongoing U20 World Cup in Chile. He scored in the 2-2 draw against Mexico U20 and assisted Iker Bravo’s winner against Brazil U20.

His performances in the tournament haven’t gone unnoticed as the report explain Wolves have also sent their scouts to Chile.

García played 51 minutes across five games for Real Betis’ senior team last season and has five more matches this season. He’s yet to score or register an assist for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Despite this, the report says his valuation has increased from €500,000 to €10m. It could rise further if the attacker were to start shining for Real Betis.

Wolves have already shown their desire to make an offer last summer and whether they’ll table a bid in January remains to be seen.
