Tottenham Hotspur youngster Mikey Moore has Spurs as his priority for the future as he works to gain experience. 

The winger is currently on loan at Koln. He joined the German side in the summer in search of regular playing time.

He’s already making waves with them, earning rave reviews for his early performances and ability to unlock defences. They were already excited about the move in the summer, believing they had secured a potential diamond for the season.

Sport Witness reported on that today, with it explained in Germany how they had beaten Everton and Fulham to the deal. That report claimed Moore has no future at Tottenham and is looking to sign for a big club in the near future.

His latest comments suggest otherwise.

“Spurs are a huge part of my life,” he said, speaking to official Koln channels.

“My goal is to play at the highest possible level. If I were to break into the first team at Spurs in the future, I’d certainly be very happy about that.”

For now, the focus is on the loan in Cologne. He knows Koln have presented him with an opportunity to showcase his talent in a league where young talent has often flourished.

“I was really happy when I got the green light for the loan. I was eager to get started right away,” he added.

“Right from the first conversation, he (Rene Wagner) had a clear idea of ​​how and where I should play. I really liked the fact that he plans to use me in an attacking role and expects me to help the team by scoring goals.

“I’m looking forward to joining a team where a lot is expected of me. I want to take on responsibility here.”

The Bundesliga also offers him the chance at a Tottenham reunion with Harry Kane. That’s something he’s looking forward to in particular.

“He was an incredible player for Tottenham,” he concluded.

“What he’s doing now is almost beyond words. I had a few training sessions with him when I was younger. I’m really looking forward to playing against him.”

Koln manager René Wagner pushed hard for the transfer, knowing what he was getting.

“I had very good talks with René. From the very first conversation, he had a clear vision of how and where I should play. I really liked the fact that he plans to use me in such an attacking role and that I should help the team with goals,” Moore said.
