Nottingham Forest have become the latest club to be credited with interest in CA Talleres star Ramón Sosa.
The Paraguay international scored seven goals and registered six assists from 21 games this year, and managed a goal and an assist for his national team at the Copa América.
Nottingham Forest are keen on signing the winger, according to journalist César Luis Merlo.
He to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim the Reds are the club that ‘want to buy’ the 24-year-old this summer.
The journalist further adds Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are already negotiating, likely with the Argentine club, about the transfer fee and percentage of a future sale. He makes no mention of any figures or if Sosa is open to joining Nottingham Forest.
On May 17th, Talleres president Andrés Fassi stated that the Paraguay international will “surely leave” in this window. He has requested $20m [£15.5m] to sanction the player’s sale.
Last month, Talleres manager Walter Ribonett told TyC Sports that it would be difficult for his side to retain Sosa.
If Nottingham Forest were to meet Fassi’s request and convince Sosa, they can get this deal over the line.
