Nottingham Forest have seriously joined the race to sign Beşiktaş forward Tammy Abraham, according to Friday evening claims from Turkey.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a transfer to Aston Villa over the past week as they look to add to their attacking line.
Ertan Süzgün reports on new developments regarding Abraham’s Beşiktaş future as the Black Eagles hope to cash in on him. Currently on loan from AS Roma, Beşiktaş have an obligation to purchase the attacker for €13m if certain criteria are met.
The Super Lig club are prepared to bring that purchase forward, and then sell Abraham for €20m.
Nottingham Forest now in the mix

It’s claimed Nottingham Forest are now in the mix to sign the former Chelsea man following reports today that Aston Villa have made an offer.
Sean Dyche will be looking to bring in an experienced centre forward this month as they face a relegation battle. Forest are currently seven points from safety.
The Turkish journalist has revealed Nottingham Forest are prepared to meet the attacker’s personal demands. Aston Villa have reportedly offered him £4m a season after tax.
However, Abraham would prefer a transfer to Aston Villa after his successful loan spell there during the 2018/19 season.
Aston Villa can offer Abraham a chance to compete for silverware with the club still in the FA Cup and Europa League. There’s also the prospect of Champions League football next season with the Villans currently 3rd in the Premier League table.
Abraham impressed for Aston Villa whilst on loan from Chelsea during the 2018/19 season. He scored 26 goals in 46 games, before returning to Stamford Bridge.
This season he’s scored 12 times in 25 appearances for The Black Eagles. Two of those goals have come over his past three league matches.
