Norwich City have made a bid for Danish striker Kasper Høgh, with the Canaries turning to Denmark once again.

That’s according to Denmark’s Tipsbladet. They confirm reports from England that Norwich City have moved for the Bodø/Glimt striker.

A report in England earlier today stated that Høgh was a target for Norwich City. They have turned towards the striker amid an ongoing transfer stand-off with Josh Sargent.

The US international has been missing for Norwich City’s previous two games. A no-show against Walsall saw him banished to work with the development squad. The likelihood is that he’ll leave, and Norwich will need a replacement.

Tipsbladet now confirm a bid for Høgh. According to their information, Norwich City are pushing ahead with an attempt to sign the Danish forward. The nature of their bid is, as yet, unknown.

Høgh was the joint top goalscorer in the Europa League last season. He was second top goalscorer in the league last season with 17 goals. He has 40 goals and 12 assists in 81 games for Bodø/Glimt since joining them in January 2024.

The likes of Transfermarkt currently value him at around €8m. He was valued as highly as €10m back in September. Whether Norwich’s offer is anywhere near that remains to be seen.

They have a squad full of Danish talent already, though. Pelle Mattsson, Anis Slimane, Oscar Schwartau, Emiliano Marcondes and Mathias Kvistgaarden are all already regulars at Carrow Road.

They clearly have a love for the country and its players, and it seems Høgh is the latest that they’ve got their eye on.
