It could be happening sooner rather than later. Newcastle United now have a clearer idea of how much they will need to pay for Allan Elias.
New reporting from Brazil claims Palmeiras have set their initial valuation for the midfielder at around €30m. The figure gives the Magpies a concrete target as they prepare their next move after months of monitoring.
The information comes from Nosso Palestra, who state that Palmeiras plan to sell Allan during the current window as part of an aggressive budget strategy for 2026.
Club officials consider him their main financial asset and expect him to generate a significant portion of the €70m they aim to raise from new transfers next year. They see his age, versatility and recent rise under Abel Ferreira as reasons to push for a strong fee.
Palmeiras have not received an official bid yet, but they believe Allan’s market value has grown after his performances in 2025.
English clubs continue to make enquiries, and Newcastle appear among the sides most attentive to the situation. Earlier reports already revealed that the Premier League team wanted an “immediate” agreement and were preparing a formal offer.
The Brazilian side trust their academy reputation and expect Allan to attract firm proposals soon. If Newcastle decide to advance, they now know the starting point: €30m.
